BECOME A MEMBER OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

By joining the Oak Hill PTA, you become part of an incredible all-volunteer organization making a difference for each of our Oak Hill Otters. The Oak Hill PTA works every day to provide resources, funding, programs and educational enrichment for every Oak Hill student. To become a member, it only costs $10 per person, most of which stays at Oak Hill to benefit your kids. With your $10 membership fee you will receive voting rights at Oak Hill PTA meetings and input into critical spending decisions regarding your children.

But joining the PTA does more than just provide money for Oak Hill. It also makes you a part of the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation. Your PTA dues provide funding for local, state-wide, and national advocacy on behalf of students. In an era of school funding shortages, the Oak Hill PTA and the National PTA are fighting to improve schools not just here, but nationwide. 

Oak Hill PTA is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, our EIN is 68-0333014. With your tax-deductible membership contribution, the PTA is able to sponsor important programs like school assemblies and field trips for our students, as well as providing teachers with needed classroom supplies. 

Plus, membership has its privileges! As a member, you also receive CAPTA member perks and National PTA member offers, as well as scholarship opportunities for continuing education through the California State PTA.

Whether you volunteer or not, and/or give financially in other ways, your PTA membership is an important indicator of the community’s commitment to the work of the PTA.

  2. You can download this membership form and send it along with your payment in your child’s backpack in an envelope marked PTA Membership.

Volunteers are an integral part of our school and of your student's success at Oak Hill Elementary. We understand your time is precious and valuable - that's why we're happy with whatever amount of time you can contribute. 

Would you like to volunteer to help staff and prepare for events? If volunteering is your niche, this is a great way to demonstrate to your child the importance of volunteering, not to mention meeting other parents in the Oak Hill community, too!
